I have tried to recognise the significance of engaging Children of all backgrounds and cultures through innovative, magical and fun story lines.

The main themes running throughout this book are ones of friendship and multiculturalism.
It follows the story of a young boy called Noah and how the contents of his beloved pencil case magically come to life, leading to mischief and adventures!
Every pencil case item has a different culture and ethnicity, promoting diversity and an appreciation for all nationalities. Each piece of stationery has its own human characteristics and traits and is accepted for these. This fosters a sense of inclusivity, showing the reader that everybody belongs.
There is a strong sense of friendship within this book and the special relationship that Noah has with each pencil case item will appeal to readers of every age.
Synopsis:
This entertaining and imaginative book will hopefully teach children the importance of looking after our friends and that regardless of our differences, everybody matters.
In Book 1 of the series, children will learn how crucial teamwork is and will find out that when we all work together, amazing things can happen.
Through the adventures of Noah and his pencil case items, children will have the opportunity to discover real life scenarios and places. This adds an early learning and educational aspect to the stories, whilst at the same time immersing the reader in a delightful adventure.
I have hopefully created a charming and heart-warming story with an important overarching message woven within a joyful narrative, highlighting the importance of kindness, and understanding and the value of teamwork. The storylines constructed to bringing a smile to both young readers and adult storytellers alike. There richly layered settings and vibrant cast of characters, allowing young readers to fully immerse themselves in Noah’s world along with
an accessibility that is well placed for the intended age group in the friendly, lively, and rhythmic writing style created for this book, allowing for an easy transition between a read together or a read alone. I have tried to include age-appropriate humour and gentle yet evocative, illustrations.
